Captain Conner was born and raised in Destin, Florida. His passion for fishing started when he was a little boy fishing with his dad along the waters of the Emerald Coast. He eventually started deck handing on fishing boats when he was a teenager and worked his way up to becoming a licensed captain. He started running inshore and offshore charters for local guides. He landed a job becoming a traveling fishing guide for a oil and gas company traveling all along the coast fishing from Destin Florida to the coasts of Texas. After several years of being a traveling guide, he decided it was time to start his dream job, running charters back in the Florida Panhandle. He loves teaching people and children of all ages how to fish and showing them different techniques used to catch fish. No angler is too young for Get Hook'd Charters.

At Get Hook'd Charters each customer will be provided with top notch fishing gear. Your fishing license will also be included in your trip. The captain will filet your catch of the day and will always recommend a hook and cook restaurant. We recommend showing up 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Don't forget your hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and snacks! Be ready to have a great day on the water and make memories that will last a lifetime.
